I was tagged by ~Amaya-Zorifuki (someone please tell me how to make those icon thingies o//o ). I got moe, and after asking what that mean and getting an answer I've decided to make it, though I'm not sure about the tagging others part; I don't know that many in here.

Teenager, high school.

◆When did you start drawing?
I think I've been drawing ever since I was little, but drawings that I'm "proud" (very self-critical) of must have been around 10 years old, when I went to an art school in my sparetime for two years. That was when I found out about manga and I think I started drawing that a few years later (12-13), but it's mostly the things I've made for the last couple of years I'm that satisfied with that I consider posting it sometime when I get home from my boarding school and get to a scanner (if I can find one that's big enough). I also write and I started doing that seriously when I was about 12-13.

◆Which hand do you use for drawing?
Right hand.

◆Which is easier to draw - male or female?
I don't know, it depends on the person. But I think I'm better at thinking of female clothing.

◆Which is easier to draw - long hair or short hair?
Long hair I think, but I can do both.

◆Is it easier to draw the head facing towards the right or the left?
I haven't really thought about any of this when I draw. o_o

◆Is it easier to draw the side view of the face or the front view?
Front I would say, unless it's some animal or the hair is not suited for it. I haven't really given it much thought.

◆What do you have problems in drawing?
Feet/shoes and hands especially. And I need to have an idea for the drawing, I can't just sit down and say; "Now I wanna draw," and then just draw something, I have to have an idea for the pose and person. I'm not that good at thinking of clothing either.

◆What do you like to draw?
People from the stories I write, or small scenes from the stories. I draw a lot from my RPGing.

◆Are you a traditional artist or a digital artist?
Drawing, traditional. Writing, digital of course.

◆Where do you start drawing from?
Usually the head.

◆What is your drawing habit that you are aware of?
I sometimes draw a sketch with stick men before I start so I know how I want them to be. Then I draw the pose of the persons with sticks and circles, and finally I add the building, clothing and all that.

◆What do you keep in mind when you do lineart?
Huh? Haven't really thought about that... The idea with it, as when I write I suppose..?

◆Any tips for coloring/shading?
No, not really. Maybe test the colours on another piece of paper before you colour your drawing? Remember I don't colour on the computer (though I would like to learn how).

◆How long does it take to finish a piece of art?
Depending very much on the amount of details. A couple of hour to a few days (that is if I draw none stop, only taking breaks for eating and stuff like that. Otherwise it can take weeks because it won't do as I want it to and I have to take a looong break. I guess the same kind of goes for when I write.)

◆What music do you listen to while you draw?
Music for the mood, or just music I like. I don't think that much about it. When I write on the other hand I need music that I won't listen too much to because then I can't concentrate; then I'll just sing along instead.

◆How long does it take you to come up with an idea?
Ideas usually don't come when you sit down thinking about them, they just pop up in my head sometimes.

◆Your favorite drawing utensils?
Pencil, rubber, colour pencils, black pens in different thicknesses, pencil sharpner. (For writing, my awesome red laptop and sometimes a note pad and pencil.)

◆Your favorite color/the color that you use a lot?
I use black a lot (black is not a colour, it's absence of colours! ) but it's not my favorite colour; that's just because I draw people in black clothes or something. That's red or blue, though I'm also quite fond of green and purple, and yellow sometimes.

◆Your favorite style(s)?
Manga... Kinda... Don't know about my writing, fantasy I think.

◆Are you satisfied with your current art?
Satisfied, yes. But it's not perfect.

◆What kind of artist are you aiming for?
Writer.
